Holiday Hallmark movies call to mind cheesy fun and happy endings, and this book takes that inspiration seriously. It is overflowing with Christmas cheer in a way that is sure to excite fans, who'll love learning about what goes on behind the scenes: the book is filled with trivia, Q&A, and quotes from the production team and well known stars. But movie details aren't all that's on offer here. There are craft projects like creating Christmas ornaments, recipes like sweet potato pie with homemade whipped cream, games like movie bingo, holiday information like how to choose a tree (fresh or fake), and much more. Readers who are not fans of Hallmark movies may still find joy in the book's pleasing aesthetic and very self-aware bingo game (spots include Big City Career Gal Reluctantly Returns to Hometown, and A Wise Aunt or Uncle Says Just the Right Thing ).
