Gr 5 Up-A fun resource for tweens and teens planning a party. Filled with theme ideas, decorations, recipes, and activities, the book outlines more than 20 different kinds of parties. There are ideas that will please parents and kids alike. Party-planning time lines and etiquette are offered. Themes include spa, birthday, garden, holiday, and sleepovers, as well as glamping parties (a combination of glamor and camping), clothing swap parties, and ice cream socials. The author presents some nontypical ideas, such as giving mini terrariums or potted plants as party favors. Readers will also enjoy the craft ideas for decorations, invitations, and party favors.
