The latest from celebrity chef Puck is a rather eclectic collection, ranging from a homey Strata with Tomatoes and Cheese to a sophisticated Scallop Ceviche with Jalape o and Lime to old-fashioned Beef Goulash from his native Austria. The recipes include dozens of helpful tips, suggestions for variations and substitutions, and advance prep notes, and there are step-by-step photographs as well as full-page shots of some dishes. Many recipes rely on the pressurecooker for saving time, and Puck is also quite fond of his panini maker and countertop electric grill. For most collections.
