Grades K-3 The Do You Really Want to Visit . . . ? series introduces different world habitats to the elementary-school set by describing an adventurous vacation there. A bespectacled boy who loves The Jungle Book embarks on a voyage to the Amazon in Do You Really Want to Visit a Rainforest?, and there he meets a pink river dolphin, piranhas, and lots of other rain-soaked critters, as well an aboriginal tribe. While the illustrations lack labeling of any kind, the gently informative narrative and eye-catching pictures should appeal to little ones curious about ecosystems.(Reprinted with permission of Booklist, copyright 2014, American Library Association.)
