Everything about this project is ideal for audiobook fans. The format--40 chapters, each highlighting a day in rock history between 1955 and 1995--allows for episodic listening. Narrator Matthew Lloyd Davies's no-frills reading is the ideal counterbalance to the exuberance, recklessness, and tragedy portrayed in each story. And the content, written by rock journalist David Hepworth, is well researched and well written.
