This addition to the "Crash Course" series discusses how to make the most of our limited time. Hough, who has been offering libraries professional development training for 20 years, provides a solid if unexceptional overview of the topic. Although advertised as time management for library staff, this book delivers tips that aren't specific to libraries. Readers will learn to set goals and priorities, track their time, manage group projects, handle interruptions, and coach others. The author emphasizes the need to develop a personal approach to time management and introduces a variety of tools, both paper and electronic, for developing and maintaining good habits. Readers unfamiliar with the subject will find many helpful hints here, but those looking for a more comprehensive guide might prefer David Allen's Getting Things Done or Julie Morgenstern's Time Management from the Inside Out. A lengthier resource list, including online resources, would have been welcome. VERDICT For readers new to the topic of time management.--Lydia Olszak, Bosler Memorial Lib., Carlisle, PA
