Stepping Into William Shakespeare's World

Grades 5-7 Young readers have plenty of biographies about famous authors, but the Time Middle School Informational Text: Grade 7 series does more than introduce seminal literary figures. The books set these writers in the middle of their worlds and explain to readers the customs and controversies that mark the eras in which they lived. William Shakespeare's World addresses the importance of religion, royalty, and social order in the Bard's time and how these segments of society impacted his works.
