The Church in Medieval Europe

Gr 5-8-In 2001, Benchmark published the four-volume set "Life in the Middle Ages." In 2009, Cavendish Square combined the four books into the single title Everyday Life in Medieval Europe. This newest set, published under Watson's byline, is a very slightly revised version of the two previous publications. It has new chapter introductions with primary sources quotes, new headings, and some new sidebars about topics such as the Magna Carta in City and the Domesday Book in Countryside. Aside from some minor rewording, most of the content is unaltered. However, the images have been updated, including photos of surviving places and structures.
