DOGO Books
satwikagejara - Malala was an ordinary girl who lived in Swat Valley, Mingora which is located in Pakistan. She was Muslim and believed in the Holy Quran. Her father ran a small school called The Kushal School. Her father allowed both girls and boys into his school and that caused many religious people to question the school. One day an Islamic scholar went to her house to speak with her father. They argued about if his school should allow girls. They came to a compromise that the girls should come into another gate. The Taliban were now in their town and were wreaking schools. They had to leave their town for a short period of time. Malala started to speak to the media about how she wanted to go to school and how she felt. I felt really inspired by Malala's story. She had come face to face with death and she still wasn't afraid to speak about what is right. I would readily recommend this book to anyone.
