Grades 1-3 Filled with colorful full-bleed illustrations, the titles in the Origami Science Adventures series playfully demonstrate basic science concepts and vocabulary with the help of an origami creature. Glenda the origami firefly tackles the relatively advanced concept of electricity in Glowing with Electricity, but she explains the terms simply and clearly enough that the basic ideaelectricity is generated by the movement of charged atomscomes through. Each entry includes highlighted key terms, which are defined both in the text and in a glossary, and simple directions to make the featured origami friend.
