Wellness expert and chiropractor Plasker shows that by combining the right attitude with the right actions growing older can be full of excitement and opportunity. As one might imagine, the author covers the usual bases of getting enough sleep, exercising, and eating healthy foods. He acknowledges the role of heredity in major diseases but maintains people can do more in the area of prevention and control in their external environment. While the information is not new, his reminders to change one choice at a time can encourage the most reluctant reader to undertake a few life-enhancing behaviors. Recommended for larger libraries.
