Woven Treasures

Hand weaving is often perceived as a craft that requires a significant initial investment in equipment. Fiber artist and weaving teacher Lamb's collection of woven bags inspired by folk art demonstrates that this isn't always so. Using step-by-step directions with corresponding color photographs, she walks weavers through the use of a variety of simple looms and tools, and the finished products are surprisingly complex. While the projects are straightforward enough, this isn't a book for absolute beginnerssome knowledge of the terminology and technique of weaving is required.
