In her second book, fabric and quilt designer Roskelley (Simplify with Camille Roskelley) returns to her area of expertise--traditional-style quilts with modern flair. The collection includes 11 designs in a variety of sizes, from wall hangings to baby quilts to a queen-size bedspread, most sewn in the aqua, red, green, and white palette that has become the author's trademark. Once again, she focuses on time-saving precut fabrics, although directions are provided for quilters cutting from yardage. VERDICT Roskelley's designs are popular among the online quilting community, and her designs are contemporary enough to appeal to modern quilters yet classic enough to appeal to traditionalists. Purchase accordingly.
