Grades 1-3 Filled with colorful full-bleed illustrations, the titles in the Origami Science Adventures series playfully demonstrate basic science concepts and vocabulary with the help of an origami creature. A rainstorm seems like the last place a paper bird would want to be, but Sonny explores weather systems, the water cycle, wind, and meteorology with the assistance of a duck named Chuck (who helpfully shields him from precipitation) in Wild Weather. Each entry includes highlighted key terms, which are defined both in the text and in a glossary, and simple directions to make the featured origami friend.
