The four food groups are reconfigured into "green-light," "yellow-light" and "red-light" foods in Eat Healthy, Feel Great by William Sears, Martha Sears and Christie Watts Kelly, illus. by Ren e Andriani. This addition to the Sears Children's Library puts a kid-friendly spin on nutrition and presents a handful of easy-to-prepare recipes (can you guess the "red-light" foods? Among them: marshmallows and "cheez puffs"). "Notes for Parents and Caregivers" opens the offering and a pullout poster is included. Also available from the same team: You Can Go to the Potty.

PreS-Gr 2-The first book is a recitation on basic nutrition that explains why it is important to eat the right foods. The authors make suggestions for "green-light foods," i.e., those that are good for you and that you can eat as much of as you'd like, and describes "yellow-light" and "red-light" foods. They also explain certain additives such as dyes and preservatives. Potty simply provides the facts that parents can share with their little ones. The material in both books is factual, but not particularly exciting or inspiring. The watercolor illustrations are acceptable and work with the instructional texts, and each volume has a fold-out poster. Prefaces for parents and caregivers provide some general advice on the topic at hand. Supplemental purchases.-Roxanne Burg, Thousand Oaks Library, CA
