If you take a guilty pleasure in "People" or "Us" or "Biography" magazine, you'll enjoy this crazy quilt of mildly titillating exposés. Everyone knows about Alexander Hamilton's duel with Aaron Burr, but where else can you learn the fate of Tom Paine's body or hear of the grief inflicted by Eleanor Roosevelt's mother-in-law? The reading by Johnny Heller is appropriately nuanced for both the tragic and comic cases, and the production is typical of the solid professionalism one expects from Recorded Books.
