This is a listen for aspiring writers, established writers, and those who are curious about what writers think about and read. Palahniuk is best known for his novel FIGHT CLUB. In this reflection he shares what he's learned over his career. Palahniuk himself delivers part of the audiobook. Happily for the listener (and Palahniuk), Edoardo Ballerini does the bulk of the narration and, not surprisingly, does it exceedingly well. He conveys a degree of snark that one who's read Palahniuk won't be surprised to hear. Ballerini brings just the right mix of narration strengths to engage even those uninterested in the writing life. It's fascinating to learn about the craft of writing and what makes for a good story.
