This collection of 22 needle-felting projects by Barickman ("The Vintage Workshop: Gifts for All Occasions") emphasizes dry-felting techniques in which barbed needles are pushed through colored layers of wool fiber or material, causing them to adhere to one another with no sewing required. The projects range in difficulty from simple coasters to an elaborate jacket. Basic needle-felting information, a photo gallery of finished pieces, full-size templates, and project instructions make this a good title for large public library needlecraft collections.
