The Making It Guide to Crafting

For many of us, the joy of creating things out of construction paper, crayons, and clay faded away shortly after we gave up afternoon naps. Now this new guide to crafting, inspired by the hit NBC television show Making It, is on a mission to revive that crafty impulse in all of us. Opening with a section dedicated to explaining the basic supplies needed, the book then divides into two sections: faster crafts (designed to ease newbies into crafting) and master crafts (designed to test your creativity), including 25 different projects ranging from tote bags to painted tiles. While the step-by-step instructions might be a bit fulsome for newcomers, there is no denying the work's exuberant charm and wide range of crafting possibilities.
