The only reason to listen to this book by Howard Stern's favorite whipping boy, Gary Dell'Abate, would be to get some insight on Howard and the show. You won't find it. Dell'Abate rarely talks about the show. Instead he spends hours droning on about his very ordinary life growing up on Long Island. He reads the book himself--emphasis on "reads"--in a toneless, passionless, awkward fashion, delivering a story that just keeps getting duller. And the production is disjointed. The few tidbits he offers about his life with Stern fail to answer the burning question: Why does Dell'Abate allow himself to be such a doormat? Listening to the book will inspire pity, nothing else.
