Succulents are resilient, beautiful, and versatile. That makes them perfect to use in all sorts of creative applications, as provided by blogger (Needles & Leaves) and first-time author Daigle. Projects run from use of succulents in the home and garden to decoration to wearables. Standout projects include a succulent wreath, a small Christmas tree, a headband and jewelry, and a wedding bouquet. Alongside each project are clear instructions and illustrations. The photography throughout is stunning. Pair with Debra Lee Baldwin's Succulents Simplified, which covers a wider assortment of plants and plant care. VERDICT Daigle has created a charming collection of projects that are repeatable and may serve as inspiration for heightened creativity. A delightful, elegant book highly recommended for all collections.
