Combatting "Slut" Shaming

Gr 6 Up-Growing up comes with challenges, a truth that is magnified for young people in the social media environment. Using a variety of resources including anecdotes from celebrities and ordinary folk, personal interviews, and study-based research, different forms of shaming in our society are discussed in this series. Adopting a response versus react stance with strategies for addressing and preventing on and offline toxicity, the books provide readers with empowering tools to combat this type of behavior.
