Culled from The New York Times, these entries from the In the Headlines series (8 new titles) are collections of news articles, analyses, opinion pieces, and letters to the editor about timely, provocative subjects. Each book uses multiple chapters to highlight a range of perspectives on the overall theme. While some of the contributions pinpoint practices in New York, many investigate the topic in other cities and regions, and still more report through a national lens. Original photographs accompany these examples. Seeking Asylum looks at the history of the U.S. asylum policy, asylum under the Trump administration, and life on the border.
