Beginning with a creative urge to personalize her college dorm room, Smith has now become a YouTube favorite with her TanaMontana100 channel where she demonstrates a range of easy projects and recipes for a juvenile audience. Here she shares 50 projects, many of which require no more skill than the ability to brandish a glue gun or handle a paint brush. For each, Smith provides a list of the necessary supplies accompanied by color photographs illustrating the instructions and the finished product. She gives clever ideas for wall art, desktop decor, pillows, curtains, lighting, and holiday items in more than 300 images. A list of resources on where to purchase materials would have been helpful. VERDICT Although marketed to a YA audience, there are plenty of easy-to-do projects here that will appeal to adult DIYers as well.
