It's difficult to imagine a less-sympathetic memoirist than Jordan Belfort. The former Wall Street trader stole $100 million from his clients to finance his life of debauchery and drug abuse, eventually spending 22 months in prison without a shred of remorse. This sequel to Belfort's first memoir picks up the story after his arrest, and narrator Ray Porter is outstanding in his ability to step inside the author's persona. His narration reflects all of the author's unrepentant swagger, his foul-mouthed contempt for his ex-wife, and his racist jibes. Listeners will find it hard to contain their disgust for Belfort, but that's a credit to Porter's exceptional portrayal. D.B. (c) AudioFile 2009, Portland, Maine
