This compact audio lesson on sleeping better offers four lessons--focused acupressure on specific body points, yoga poses, physical relaxation, and guided visualizations--all of which are grounded in ancient healing practices that seem to go well beyond behavioral and psychological approaches to relaxing. A printed picture guide illustrates the audio instructions, which are fairly specific. The author assumes that listeners are familiar with his approach. The touch, movement, and guided imagery techniques offered here, if used nightly, could be powerful tools for getting past the intellectual noise and physical stress patterns that keep many people awake.
