The Opposite of Loneliness

Narrator Emily Woo Zeller is the voice of 22-year old Marina Keegan. The young writer of these stories and essays died in a car accident a few days after graduating from Yale University. Zeller narrates with the zeal of great anticipation and hopeful outcomes, as well the momentary skepticism Keegan felt about an unpredictable future. Zeller's voice is provocative and vibrant, and the characters in the short stories are easily imagined. She changes her tone to emphasize uncertainty or pleasure, allowing listeners to become more acquainted with each relatable character.
