Hunter Clarke wants to spend Christmas with his father and older brother, but his mother, newly divorced, worries about Hunter's inability to accept the change in their domestic situation. On a hopeful whim, she enters her son into a contest to celebrate Christmas with the Robertson family of Duck Dynasty fame. Her wish is that they can do what she cannot--find a way to reach Hunter before she loses him.
