As Andrew's success at a literary agency builds, his relationship with his wife, Beth, disintegrates. The final straw for Beth is when Andrew breaks yet another promise to spend time together on Christmas Eve. The consequences are unexpectedly tragic, and Andrew prays for one more chance to make things right. His prayer is answered, just not in the way he expected. In a race against time, Andrew learns a bit too late all that he could have had will be lost unless heaven once again intervenes. VERDICT Former Hallmark Channel screenwriter Miller delivers a heartrending tale of family, love, and forgiveness that recalls such Christmas favorites as It's a Wonderful Life and A Christmas Carol. The foreboding tone mixed with a glimmer of hope make this a holiday story to remember.
