This latest installment in Tyler's SWAT series is just as exciting, fast paced, and on-point as the last. In Wolf Hunger, another member of the Dallas special-forces unit (comprised solely of werewolves), Max Lowry, finds his match: the beautiful aspiring scientist, Lana Mason. Though they hit it off immediately, two major problems arise. One, Max can tell from her scent that Lana is a werewolf, but she doesn't know it! And two, Lana's father is deputy chief of the SWAT unit. Will Max expose their unit's big secret in the process of trying to show Lana who she truly is? Adding to the suspense, other mysteries encircle the lovers: the murder of Lana's college roommate and a growing number of werewolf murders in the area, which suggests that werewolf hunters are gathering around Dallas. In this installment, Tyler slightly expands her werewolf world, giving readers new mysteries to ponder while not disrupting the continuity of the series.
