How to draft a successful NFL quarterback has been a question asked by many trying to determine the key to creating a winning team. In this work, former coach and commentator Billick and author Dale (Just Show Up) examine the 2018 NFL quarterback draft class, one of the most highly touted draft classes in recent years. Billick and Dale hope to reveal a formula for prognosticating with better measurement and prediction. The book provides a breakdown of each athlete: Baker Mayfield, Sam Darnold, Josh Allen, Josh Rosen, and Lamar Jackson. Football fans will be interested in the history of the quarterback position, and the pre-draft analysis on the players. Next, the authors analyze players in their first two seasons in the NFL. Additionally, they extrapolate what it takes to find a successful quarterback including completion percentage, yards per attempt, pocket presence and decision-making. VERDICT While some readers may find it interesting to go back and read about predraft analysis of the 2018 NFL draft class, for more intense NFL fans, information may be repetitive as nothing revolutionary is described in the book.--Pamela Calfo, Bridgeville P.L., PA
