Roller Bears

PreS-K-Children will be tickled to read and rhyme with the roller bears as they live their best lives skating everywhere. From the park to the rink, the bears show how much they love other things, too, and when it's time to hibernate, they know to hang up their skates. The bears are kitted out for safety, while bold text and spare backgrounds keep the action-and therefore the meanings-front and center. Each page has a short sentence or phrase that rhymes with the next and that is mirrored by the illustrations. While there is not much of a plot for older children, emerging readers will find this a quick study and not be overwhelmed as they learn corresponding rhyming words.
