Business consultant Patterson, a contributor to media outlets including Huffington Post and CNBC, offers a collection of essays by more than 40 women successful in a cross section of careers, from politics to philanthropy, firefighting, and finance. The contributors include comedian Kerri Pomarolli and Diana von Welanetz Wentworth, coauthor of two Chicken Soup for the Soul titles. The contributors recall their own challenges and triumphs and encourage women not to be afraid of being successful, to find mentors and be willing to be mentors to other women, to share their stories and strategies, and to find their own ways of operating in male-dominated arenas.
