Relationship coach and host of MarriageToday, Willis was astounded when his son asked him, "Do girls like it when boys send them pictures of their penises?" As a father of four boys, the author understands the importance of teaching his kids to respect girls, especially in an era of #metoo. The crisis hit personally close to his world, as he and his family support and visit a Christian orphanage in Guatemala that ministers to young girls who have been victims of sex trafficking. Willis uses Jesus's teachings as a model of boyhood that emphasizes valuing women. Grounded in research, this work provides tools for varying ages and ends each section with "In Women's Own Words," in which women share their perspectives. Willis further doesn't neglect topics such as locker-room mentality and pornography. VERDICT Those looking for inspirationally based advice will appreciate Willis's suggestions on subjects as current as the headlines.
