With this collection of advice, experiences, wisdom, and real-world skills gleaned from interviews with famous fathers, Finkel and Eddy, bloggers and podcast hosts for the online community, Life of Dad, create a guide to masterful male parenting. Drawing primarily from the insights of professional athletes, entertainers, and businessmen in the public eye, this gathering of reflections on fatherhood is organized into three parts. The first two provide tools for fathers to educate themselves on parenting and to help them teach their children. The third part offers suggestions for what to do together as father and children. Within each section, values are addressed, such as character, work ethic, and embracing new roles. Finkel and Eddy draw conclusions from each interview, but they don't include an overarching summary. This open-ended approach will be valuable for aspiring fathers and veteran dads alike.
