Those who have liked George Carlin in the past may just roll on the floor. Or wince. Or yawn. It's much of the same old stuff--in-your-face raw language and toilet humor interspersed with sharp political satire and a playful exploration of the absurdities of the English language. There are laugh-out-loud segments along the way, and most listeners will find something that tickles. A routine about getting stoned in an airplane bathroom has its moments but needs serious editing. Delivery is just right. Carlin knows timing, and makes the most of his material. There's something for everyone, but a lot less than one might have hoped for from such a veteran. E.S.
