The Urban Sketching Handbook Techniques for Beginners

Observing the world around you and then capturing it within the pages of a sketchbook is the artistic aim of urban sketching. The instructions are concise and helpful and include a survey of the necessary tools, as well as an assortment of "Start Here" exercises that breakdown a concept like seeing contours into a series of achievable steps. Examples from artists around the globe are scattered throughout the book giving additional insights and practical tips.
