After nearly six years as a 24/7 personal assistant to retired superstar quarterback Wade "The Catapult" Carter, CC Morgan has saved enough to fulfill her dream of living on the California coast. No more midnight candy runs or deflecting his many one-night stands. But before she can give formal notice, Wade's father is diagnosed with a heart condition, drawing Wade and CC back to his small hometown of Credence and the family hog farm on the plains of Eastern Colorado.
