Redford (Hot for a Cowboy) rustles up sugar-and-spice-filled holiday romance in the endearingly loopy fifth Smokin’ Hot Cowboys contemporary. Wildcat Bluff, Tex., is home to hot firefighting cowpeople and a plethora of lovable characters. It also features the famous Wildcat Hall Park dance hall. City slicker Ivy Bryant is only managing Wildcat Hall Park until her chanteuse sister, Fern, blows back into town. Then she meets multitalented rancher and award-winning pie man Slade Steele. Slade’s main concerns are getting his family’s new ranch up and running, thwarting the cattle rustlers who are making off with the stock, and making sure the Wildcat Hall Park’s legacy of love and community continues. His heart and protective instincts are fully engaged within seconds of spying the decorative tinsel in Ivy’s hands as she tries to ready the hall for the holidays.
