Escaping from an experimental medical facility and now desperate for blood, vampire Marcus Cage comes across Jo Elliot camping alone in the Arizona desert. Instinctively recognizing her as The One-his soul mate-and knowing he must feed or die, he clouds her mind and slakes his thirst.
