Narrator Pamela Klein delivers the author's discussion of how women need to take charge of their lives if they want to walk hand-in-hand with God. Her soft voice takes on an edgy quality as she explains how overscheduling, assumed responsibilities, and growing to-do lists leave little time for God and cause women to suffer from exhaustion and frustration. Her delivery of Clarkson's fascinating, often entertaining, anecdotes and examples helps make them easy for women to identify with. Her more serious tone underscores why Clarkson considers life fragile and short when viewed from the perspective of eternity.
