The author says this is mainly due to lingering gender stereotypes about females' capacity for empathy, decisiveness, commitment, and memory. Providing a cultural overview of these stereotypes that rings true, the author details the types of decision-making errors that we are all prone to make and offers intuitive suggestions for women in particular on how to avoid them.
