In the third book in The Missing series, narrator Chris Sorensen deftly takes listeners into the world of children who are lost in time. Together they must help each other back to their original time periods. As their current assignment unfolds, Jonah and Katherine are working to reunite their friend Andrea with her seventeenth-century counterpart--Virginia Dare, from the lost colony of Roanoke. Sorensen's skillful use of intonation and tone adds suspense to the historical aspects of the mystery. His youthful and well-timed narration allows listeners to experience the confusion and uncertainty of the teens as they attempt to unravel the mystery and save time as they know it. E.A.B.
