It's a Fair Day, Amber Brown

As she walks downstairs touching each right heel to the stair back, Amber Brown predicts a perfect day. But when her favorite cereal box is empty, she's not too sure. She has been awaiting an outing to the fair and desperately wants her parents to be happy with each other and the event. Dana Lubotsky's narration is as concerned, childlike, and vivacious as Amber Brown herself. Her words stretch out as Amber anxiously watches her parents' conversations and actions.
