PreS-Gr 1-Pal, a friendly little pony, finds his niche on the Star Ranch and becomes a star in his own right. This simple story is written for children at the earliest stages of independent reading. Boys and girls will want to read about the different horses taking part in the rodeo and will identify with little Pal's attempts to do what the bigger horses do.
