abiw2003 - This book is about a girl who just moved into a country, and she's got the meanest neighbors ever. She is trying to grow strawberries. Sounds easy for a farmer like her, right? Wrong. Her strange neighbors have some real mean kids, and the neighbors' kids are very mean to their animals. Their youngest son is quite thin. They've got two daughters. Their older sons tortured a teacher. And their family seems to be sabotaging the strawberries. In fact, they have killed their dear old horse! The youngest son has even tried to feed a wild snake a live rabbit! That's all I'm saying about this book. A great story for those who are having troubles in life.
