Preschool Using simple shapes, watery colors, and clever cutouts, this board book introduces ocean creatures. Open the cover, and on each spread you get a couple of lines of text (e.g., You crawl on the sandy ocean floor ), along with pictures of an octopus, a sea horse, a goldfish, and a whale. A smaller book featuring ocean babies fits comfortably into the inner corner of the larger one, creating a potential species matching game, and for children old enough to grasp the concepts, incorrect pairs will produce giggles. The delightfully drawn animals and the guessing-game aspect will be appreciated by both toddlers and parents.
