101 Relationship Myths

At first glance, relationship writer Ray's book seems like a rather cynical take on the stereotypical bond between men and women. However, the more of Ray's "myth-busting" ideas one reads (e.g., the myth that if a person loves someone, he or she should do what the loved one wants), the more constrictive one begins to find the typical way of thinking about relationships. Ray reminds us that strong sexual attraction doesn't guarantee a good match and that a successful relationship doesn't always have to be based on compromise. VERDICT In simple terms, the author clarifies and breaks down several impediments to successful relationships.
