Preschool-K Bikes, cars, planes, and trains. How well do you know them? Here's a quick true-or-false question: Do all buses have a roof? False! Tour buses do not. This title in the new True or False? series introduces nine forms of transportationincluding animals and balloonsand asks a related true-or-false question. The target preschool audience may find the outside-the-box photos somewhat confusing. For instance, a child rides a hippo in the Animal section, and the text asks, Some people use animals to get around. True or false? Well, it's false if you look at the picture, but true if you think more broadly and consider horses. (The answer does not mention camels, donkeys, etc.) Still, this provides a fun activity for kids who love things that go.
