What Happens When I Burp?

Grades K-2 Is there a more intriguing series title than My Body Does Strange Stuff? What Happens When I Burp? begins with people's reaction to burping and then goes into an explanation, complete with the diagrams about the physical process that makes someone burp. While the texts are quite readable, the color photos are relatively useless placeholders. That said, there is information to be gleaned here, and these small square books begin conversations in a friendly and helpful manner.(Reprinted with permission of Booklist, copyright 2014, American Library Association.)
